This signature pattern continues to be produced through artisanal hand-block printing - a labor-intensive, time-consuming process that takes incredible skill and fortitude. This signature floral pattern incorporates thirty-eight individual hand-carved wooden blocks, and requires one hundred individually placed blocks to complete one yard of fabric. A well-trained artisan can produce no more than 3.5yds in a single day. No matter the trends, Hollyhock Handblock is always in style, as attested to by its enduring popularity amongst interior designers.
